English & Maths classes: 11+ Kent Test

We provide expert teaching in English, Maths, Verbal Reasoning and Non-Verbal Reasoning. With a 1:4 tutor-to-pupil ratio, our classes combine the focus of individual support with the benefits of collaborative learning, building confidence, skills and exam readiness.

Year 4

A gentle introduction to the Kent Test in a supportive, non-pressured environment.

1 hour per week, £25

Starting 1st March 2026.

Year 5

Focused practice of key skills in English & maths, reasoning and exam technique.

1 hour per week, £25

Booking is now open for September 2026.

Dates & times are to be confirmed, but classes are likely to be Fridays after school.

Our Teachers

Nicola, Year 5 Maths Specialist

Nicola is a primary school teacher who specialises in Maths and Science. She is the Head of Science in a local independent school and tutors Maths up to A Level. Nicola has an Engineering Masters from Oxford University, which often comes in useful with those tricky spatial reasoning questions!

Francesca, Year 4 & 5 English Specialist

Francesca is the former Deputy Head, Head of English & 11+ Lead at a private school in West London. Her degree is in English Language and Literature, and she specialised in English during her teacher training. Francesca prepares over-seas pupils for the 11 and 13+ at top independent schools in the UK.

Jenny, Year 4 Maths Teacher

Jenny has eight years’ experience teaching in KS2 and prepares children for the Kent Test and ISEB entrance exams for independent secondary schools.
